Gluten free stuffed potatoes

Probably everyone now knows the infamous Tasty videos on Facebook. Often cooked, at least as often failed. ;) I don't know how they manage to make the dish taste good, but it doesn't work for me. So I thought I'd just do my own "Tasty 2.0" in gluten free. 

Of course I was a bit inspired, but I am convinced that my baked potatoes are a lot tastier. For the curious among you, here is the recipe:


That's what you need:

Potatoes (preferably early potatoes, so you can also eat the peel)

400g minced meat



500g strained tomatoes

Cheese to gratinate

Herbs of your choice


Preparation time approx. 40 to 50 minutes, depends on the cooking time of the potatoes.


Here's how it works:

Boil the potatoes for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on size. For the filling, fry the minced meat, season, add onions and garlic and then deglaze with the tomatoes. Season the sauce. 

Hollow out the boiled potatoes with a teaspoon and add the potato mixture to the sauce. Mix well and add the sauce to the potato boats. Sprinkle with cheese and herbs and bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees top / bottom heat - your stuffed baked potatoes are ready. And yes, they actually look at least as "tasty" as the ones in the videos. Oooh yes! ;)
